With temperatures far from Baltic and enough biscuits to feed a small army, we tackled the world of work head on in our second week at Agent Academy.
Bright-eyed and rearing to go, Tuesday morning commenced with an insight into strategy delivered by Agent’s strategically insightful Darren. We learnt that three small words – ‘why’, ‘how’ and ‘what’ – lie at the heart of every marketing strategy.
When Annie O’Toole from Juxdit popped in for a chat, we were able to put our new skills into practice, interrogating her about starting a tech business as a young entrepreneur. Bringing employee Michael along for the ride, we were all excited to see an Academy graduate employed in an exciting role in a Liverpool-based start-up.
Becoming more confident young leaders by the day, Zoe put on a brave face as her fledglings flew the nest on Wednesday morning.
The group met with two Baltic residents, Orb Events and Damibu, asking how the skills gap in creative and digital industries has affected them.
Now on to week 3 and making insight into expertise!
